Australian police questioning 4 more Indian docs

According to the report, the Australian police have detained four more Indian doctors and the Indian doctors are being questioned by the investigating agency in connection with the failed UK terror plots.

Further, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has raided tow western Australian hospitals such as Kalgoorlie and Royal Perth hospital located in two different states.

Now, the Australian police has started investigations in a third state and some investigations are taking place against an unnamed doctor in NSW.

Till now, four Indian migrant doctors have been questioned by investigating agencies in Australia.

However, AFP Commissioner Mike Keelty said that all four Indian doctors had worked in the British health system.

He also said further that they were not considered as suspects and had not been charged.

At the same time, the Attorney-General Philip Ruddock said that police officials are investigating and examining number of items seized from their possessions such as telephones and laptop computers.

They all are cooperating with the investigating agency

On the other hand, a court judge in Queensland has given permission to Australian police and a senior British counter-terrorism officer for 96 hours more to question Mohamed Haneef, 27 who was arrested at Brisbane airport on Monday.

Presently, the police team is examining more than 30,000 files there on Haneef’s laptop computer. The police have also seized his PC and a Sim card mobile phone device that he had reportedly left with one of the British bomb suspects.
