Amitabh Bachchan has finally decided to take a U-turn in the matter of the ownership of farming land in two states. The previous government in UP had given a 4.5 bigha of agricultural land to Amitabh Bachchan in Daulatpur, Uttar Pradesh.
When the matter took a legal turn Amitabh found it difficult to prove himself as farmer. So no, he has informed the concerning authority and CM Mayawati that he has now donated the land to the ‘gramsabha’ in Daulatpur.
Now, it is cleared that Bollywood biggest star is actually not a farmer anymore. Amitabh Bachchan always tries to keep his legs away from any kind of controversies particularly if the nature of the controversy is political.

At the same time, he also surrendered the agricultural land he purchased in Pune on the basis of the ownership of the agricultural land in Daulatpur.
According to the report, Big B has written to Maharashtra CM and the divisional commissioner of Pune and informed them that he has donated the 5.31 hectares of land owned by him and 4.01 hectares Abhishek Bachchan.
The land was located near the Pawna dam, Pale village in Pune. On the basis of the farmer status owned by him after acquiring the agricultural land in Barabanki, Big B had legally purchased the agricultural land in Pawna.
Earlier in June, the Faizabad commissioner had informed court that the agricultural land allotted to Bachchan actually did not belong to him. The commissioner had also called for an inquiry to review the Amitabh’s farmer status. Later, the Faizabad court had stated that Big B was not a farmer.
The UP government acted quickly after the court’s decision and restored the land to the Gram Sabha. Faizabad Additional Commissioner (Administration) Vidhya Sagar also said that that the agriculture land allotment to Amitabh Bachchan was not legal.
Later, Big had gone to the Allahabad High Court to challenge the decision given by the Faizabad additional commissioner in which he had canceled the transfer of 70,000 sq feet of agricultural land in his name at Daulatpur in Barabanki.
