
Here is a good news for Bihar and the students of Bihar that they are about to get some top rated institutions in the state. The education system in Bihar has seen the worst phase in last 15 years.
At the same time, Bihari students, time to time, have proved that they are no less in talent from the students of any other part in the country. They do better but only after going out from his own state, this is the irony of the story.
The Nitish government has showed better vision to put the state on the path to gain the status of leader in education in India once again. The revival plan of Nalanda University, the several projects upgrade primary, middle and higher-level schools in the state are some visible examples.
The Central government and the Knowledge Commission have also become equally conscious to put the education system of states such as Bihar and UP on right path
According to a report, the steering committee of the Planning Commission has been given green signal to establish an Indian Institute of technology, an Indian Institute of Management and an Indian Institute of Information technology in Bihar.

Earlier, it had passed a proposal to establish one University Grants Commission-aided College in each district in Bihar. The steering committee of the planning commission has taken this decision in a meeting with the secretaries of higher education from various states.
The UGC chairman, S K Thorat and other senior officials from Central government were also present in the meeting. Various aspects to develop the level of secondary, higher and technical education in the country discussed also in the meeting, which was chaired by Prof B L Mungekar, member of education, planning commission.
There was also a decision to open a central university in every state to provide better level of the education to the poor students. The officials also discussed the need to improve and promote the educational set up according to the changing scenario at the national and international level.
