CNN to show India's transformation from oldest civilization to youngest economy

India is becoming as the center stage of concentration of the different countries of the world. The world has started recognizing the development saga showed by India in last one decade.

From a poor nation in 40s, the country is now knocking the door of developed countries to include it in the elite club. The other countries are also showing their interest to know about the success story of India.

According to a report, a leading news channel CNN International has planned to make a special series to reveal to the world that how India is going up on the ladder of the success.

The news channel has planned to celebrate 60 years of India’s independence with the presentation of a special series named as ‘Eye on India’ with a motto ‘let the world know India’s development story’.

The report says that the program would focus on the success path India has passed through since its independence from British colonial rule in 1947.

The program would reveal the story behind the transformation of the world’s oldest civilization to the world’s youngest economy.

The program ‘Eye on India’ would concentrate to show the world that India’s strength lies in its young population who has the power and the real potential to make their country even stronger.

Rena Golden, senior vice president of CNN International said:

Through this program we want to present India and the spirit of its 1 billion people not just to the Indians but to the global audience too. We have tried to extensively cover issues such as caste challenges, reservation and sense of pride through the eyes of its young demographics.

The news channel would telecast the week long series on March 18, March 21, March 23 and March 24 this year.
