
The heavy rains have hit the coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh. The next 48 hours are very tough for the people living in the coastal area. 13 people have been died so far in the cyclone ‘Ogni’.
The State government has put the nine coastal districts from Srikakulam to Nellore on a high alert. The deep depression over Central Bay of Bengal is expected and it may hit the coastal part between Bapatla and Kakinada.
According to the state’s cyclone warning center, the depression touched the coastal part of Andhra Pradesh between Ongole and Bapatla on Monday afternoon. The place 25 km near to Bapatla was the center of the depression. It is expected to move towards northwestern direction.

The Cyclone center has given a warning that heavy rain is expected to continue at Prakasam, Guntur, Krishna, East and West Godavari districts, Khammam and Nalgonda districts in the next two days.
Strong winds 50 kmph speed are expected to hit the coastal areas of Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna districts too.
