Dengue becomes danger, government still careless

Dengue
has caused six more deaths yesterday. The death toll has gone to 55 and the count is still on progress as 87 more people are caught affected with this disease across the country.

An MP from Bihar Rajiv Ranjan Singh also admitted in the AIIMS for suspected Dengue.

The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had a visit to AIIMS to meet patients and to get the steps to counter the disease and attentiveness to cope with the deadly disease.

The disease has gone beyond Delhi’s boundaries too. Five persons, including two children and infant have been died in Vidarbha region, Maharashtra. One person has died in Anantpur, Andhra Pradesh too.

There is also the first case reported in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. 15 cases of suspected dengue are also reported in Uttar Pradesh. Thirty people are going under treatment in Kolkata, five people are suspected of Dengue in Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh and in Madhya Pradesh too.

Sixty-one more patients admitted in different hospitals in Delhi in last two days. Till today, the disease has troubled 886 people and claimed 21 lives.

PM, with his wife, had visit of AIIMS. Rohan, their grandson has been discharged but his son-in-law Vijay Tankha and another grandson Madhav are still going on treatment and expected to be discharged today.

Outside Delhi, the maximum dengue cases have been reported from Kerala (713), Gujarat (424), Rajasthan (326), West Bengal (314), Tamil Nadu (306), Maharashtra (226), Uttar Pradesh (79), Haryana (65), Karnataka (59) and Andhra Pradesh (9).

Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss held a meeting with World Health Organization experts and other health officials. He confirmed that the situation was not that of an epidemic and expected to decrease the number of cases by next week.

This Ramdoss guy needs to be FIRED for his cover-up and not been able to manage Dengue outbreak.
