Desire for remarriage and 'KANK' influenced a man to shoot his wife



Indian people love movies, love the characters of movies and they admire them at very large extent. Most of the times, they live and try to act according to the film stars.



A man in Mumbai forced his wife to watch the movie ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kahna‘ based on extra marital affairs and chacters in this film do find their love outside marriage.



The man wanted that his wife would allow him to marry again with his girlfriend. His wife refused and he shot her after that.



According to the Mumbai Mirror daily, his wife was not staying with him. She was living with her two children after a marital spat.



The newspaper said the 32-year-old man’s real intention in taking his wife to the movie was to persuade her to allow him to marry.



Later, his wife survived after treatment and gave statement against her husband.



According to the film’s director Karan Johar,

I was shocked when hear about this incident. I never had thought the subject of this movie would incite such strong emotions in the people.
