39 Indians have been detained in Dubai on Tuesday morning when the Dubai immigration authorities caught them carrying fake visas with them. The Indian passengers had arrived in the Emirate on Tuesday morning by an Indian Airlines flight. Now, they are reportedly being deported to India from Dubai.

According to the report, a group of 44 Indians had arrived in Dubai by the Indian Airlines flight from Delhi. Later, the airport officials checked their visas and found that 39 people in the group of 44 people were carrying fake visas.

The immigration authorities have later found that 39 Indians were traveling on visas that were actually issued by the employer for the rest of the five Indians. However, the ministry of external affairs has commented on this incident that this is the responsibility of the airline to check the proper visas.

On the other hand, despite of claiming that the visas are genuine, the Dubai immigration officials have slapped a fine on the airline Dh510 for bringing passenger without proper visas to the country.
