The Railway department was getting another blow of scam, this time in the name of Army through the military warrants. According to Times of India report, a racket is working behind the scene and making fake military warrants to get railway tickets.

An alert has been made in the Army, Navy and Indian Air Force HQs. The integrated defense staff have been said to maintain a strict eye to detect this practice going on in the name of Army.

The departments have been started looking in to the matter to find out how widespread the racket is working. According to a military official, both the cases are possible. Either any group is printing the fake warrants or some officials are misusing the authorized warrant books.

Earlier, the central ticket checking squad had caught people traveling with fake military warrants recently in a train. However, the defence ministry had taken the matter in a very serious manner and asked concerning authority to find out who is the real culprit.
