It seems in Uttar Pradesh, not everything is going fine. Now girls are showing their anger against the government. The girls went on rampage in Kanpur.

They made allegations against state officials that they have failed to disburse the educational funds to them. The funds were promised by the state government to give the girls.

A news agency has reported that the angry girls ransacked the windowpanes of the local office of the educational department. Later they blocked the traffic in the city. They were demanding for immediate reimbursement of the scheme earlier promised by the government.

A girl, protesting against the government officials, said that

we are protesting because we are tired of coming here everyday. They just keep telling us to come the next day and enquire. So many days have passed but nothing is happening.

On the other hand, the state officials refused to make any comment on the incident or the complains made by the angry girls.

Last year, the state government had launched a scheme for girls. According the scheme, Kanya Vidya Dhan, state government had promised to grant financial support of Rs 20,000 each to one lakh girl students girls from economically weaker sections in state.

On one hand, the girls are making allegations that they are not getting the money and on the other hand, the government claimed that the scheme got a success.
