Sky is not safe now. Indian Air Force Radars will monitor the movements of all aircrafts activities including domestic flights anywhere in Indian airspace. This is happening for the first time in India.
The US has issued a warning for the Indian government for fresh attacks by Al Qaeda.
The IAF is working to upgrade the functioning and networking of its Radar System. Those Radars will cover the airspace of the country that goes to twelve nautical miles into the sea.
This practice is happening to guarantee the safety of all airplanes flying in India. All aircrafts will have to take the air defence clearance, while flying in Indian airspace.
IAF has made Air Defence Identification Zones. If any aircraft will move from one zone to the other, they will have to get fresh codes from the zones.

Earlier, the government of India already had a new anti-hijack policy that empowers the authorities to even blast an aircraft if it would have taken over by terrorists and trying to use it to repeat the incidents like 9/11.
The Indian Air Force had taken this decision and conveyed the civil aviation ministry twenty-four hours before the British announcement of foiling the massive air terror attack.
All civilian airlines will be allotted the air defence code by IAF controller. The code and its password will be mandatory for flying and avail other aviation services.
The IAF radar will have the coverage to Central India and the Andamans & Nicobar Islands as well. They will have to interlink with Airports Authority of India radar network.
