
In India, lawmakers break the law and escape untouched most of the times. Here is another example of forgery and a Member of Parliament is held responsible for the falsification.
Security officials have detained a BJP MP from Gujarat, Babubhai Katara, at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in relation to a case of impersonation.
He was charged for allegedly misusing his wife`s passport. He was trying to take another woman to Toranto by air India flight 187 on his wife’s passport. The flight was scheduled to take off at 7.30 am. Before taking off they were detained by the officials.
Babubhai Katara is Lok Sabha MP from Dahod. The immigration officials found at the time of immigration check that the woman who was traveling with him was not his wife Sarda Ben. Later the woman was identified as Paramjeet Kaur.
The immigration officials questioned BJP MP and the woman and later handed them over to the police. Till yet the police is reportedly have not registered any case regarding this incident in this connection.
Later, BJP has reportedly suspended Babubhai Katara from the party and also issued a so-cause notice against him.
