Everybody talks about the competition between India and China in almost every sector including the Information technology development. People find China far ahead than India in software sector in their general talks and discussion.

But, the chairman and chief mentor of Infosys, Mr Narayana Murthy has claimed that India is far ahead from China in the software sector. Now, India should work hard to concentrate for extending this lead in the global market as well.

Narayan Murthy said it while he was addressing a group of 125 interns at the Infosys global internship program. He said that China has showed greater commitment in sectors such as manufacturing but India has showed greater output in the software sector. It has put India ahead of China in the area of IT software.

He said:

India has had a lead of 20 years over China. The Indian middle class professionals work hard, understand customers’ demand and give output better and smarter than any other professionals in the world.

He expressed his views on the work culture of the Indian companies that there is an existence of fairly advanced system, processing and methodology for distribution development model in Indian companies. The Indian companies deliver quality at any cost.

At the same time, he said that one should not undervalue China because China is an extraordinary nation. If it decides to put its soul into something it does it well.
