The governments of India and United Kingdom have established a joint agreement to fight with terrorism.
The agreement will help to initiate joint action to combat the growing threat of terrorism in both countries.
According to British foreign secretary Margaret Beckett, the joint cooperation will be a part of a counter-terrorism pact between the two countries.

The joint agreement will also share security information about the security cover of the Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held in 2010 in New Delhi as well as 2012 Olympics in London.
Beckett is currently on a visit in Mumbai. She said in a news conference that,
both the countries could share the particular techniques and programs to detect suspicious person on public transport systems. We will share ideas and action patterns to protect national infrastructure. Britain’s experiences of fighting terrorist attacks by using closed circuit television would be shared with India. Indian and British police officers working in anti-terrorist cells are expected to meet in Mumbai to share their experiences.
