A day before yesterday, Manoj Das, a 14-year old boy had died in the Yoga camp of Baba Ramdev in Bhubaneswar. He was a heart patient and had come to camp to be cured.
The yoga guru Baba Ramdev has said to the people that they should not cross the limit at the extent their body approves during yoga and pranayam practices.
Ramdev said at yoga camp in Bhubaneswar as Excess of anything, including physical and breathing exercise, is bad for health. The boon of yoga should not become a curse for human beings.
Ramdev said on the boy’s death that
Yoga is for productivity and longevity. It is an ancient form of lifestyle meant for well-being of society. But it should be practised with respect and utmost care.
According to Baba Ramdev, excess of eating habit may cause stomach problems, excess of physical exercises also cause adverse health problems.
People should go with the capacity of their body and they should practice yoga according to the capacity only. Taking rest at regular interval is necessary during the yoga exercises.
S S Adhikari of Patanjali Yoga Samiti said that at least 250 trained yoga teachers were seen guiding sick people to perform yoga. They are monitoring the ailing persons and newcomers at the camp now.
