Saffron is shining, Lotus is rising, Bhartiya Janta Party leaders are smiling. After Gujarat, now the BJP is on the way to win Himachal Pradesh. Victory in two states within a week would surely give a morale boost up to the party.

Party’s central leadership is gaining the much-needed confidence by winning state assembly elections across the country.

First it was outstanding performance in Punjab, then Modi’s magic in Gujarat and now the Lotus is shining in Himachal Pradesh also.

According to the trends till 11 am this morning, BJP is all set to win more than 40 seats in the 68-seat state assembly in Himachal. Congress is likely to win 17 seats with independent and pother parties five.

It was much-talked battle between five-time chief minister Virbhadra Singh of the Congress and Prem Kumar Dhumal of the BJP. Prem Kumar Dhumal, will now become the chief minister of the state for the second time.
