The intelligence officers of British and Pakistani authorities foiled a completely unexpected kind and dangerous planning of another terrorist attack in the US. According to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, there was a plan to blow as many as ten airplanes over Atlantic Ocean.



At least 24 men were arrested in countrywide raids in Britain. There were a Muslim Charity worker and Heathrow Airport employee. Both were having an all-area access pass.



According to a senior congressional source, the plotters have possibly planned to mix a British sports drink with a gel-like substance. They were planning to convert it in a potent explosive ignited with an MP3 player or cell phone.







The sports drink, in combination with a peroxide-based paste, is reported to form a potent explosive cocktail.



The Airport Authorities all over the Britain immediately banned all passengers going to or departing from U.S. airports from carrying any liquid in their luggage.







The long passengers’ line for the security checkpoints had made air travel muddled worldwide as flights were delayed or canceled.
