The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) with Pinstorm have come out with a study on the functioning of search engines in India. The study has found that the search engine market is growing with great pace and causing more than half-a-million searches a month. Almost forty thousand marketing shops are right now using the E-marketing to find their way to the customers.

Indians are searching research choices, product details and price lists, travel search, banking search, insurance search, educational career search and for career in films.

The study says that twenty-two out of the top 50 and thirty-seven out of the top 100 search advertisers by keyword volume are firms with Indian operations.
