Rahul has got his name in the nominations for four categories in the coming annual International Cricket Council awards. The awards will be announced on October 23 in Mumbai during the ICC Champions Trophy
Rahul Dravid got nominations in four categories such as Sir Garfield Sobers Award for the Cricketer of the Year, Test Player of the Year, ODI Player of the Year, and Captain of the Year awards.
He is the lone Indian who found his name in four categories but there are two more cricketers from other countries who are at the same platform on which Dravid is.
Australia’s Ricky Ponting and Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jaywardhane are the two other cricketers who are ready to give tough time to Dravid during Award ceremony. Both of them have got four nominations for ICC Awards
Rahul Dravid’s performance in any condition and the high level of consistency has finally placed him in the category of all time Best cricketers of world.
According to a survey, he is performing better than any other Indian cricketer’s performance during their best time.
