Rahul Gandhi has taken a legal route and sent a notice to a US-based website Hinduunity.Org. According to the notice, the website had allegedly published perverted, scurrilous and gutter writing against Rahul Gandhi and his family members.

The Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said to the media on Friday night that the notice has been sent against Rohit Vyasman as well as and against Ezboard Inc. He made an allegation on them to launch a disparaging campaign against the Gandhi family.

According to him, the party traced the website after much efforts. He confirmed that the legal notice was served as threatening prosecution against them including the co-conspirators.

The legal notice has asked for severe action according to the law possible against them. This is a necessary step to stop such writings and the misuse of religion too.

Singhi also said;

It is high time that civil society took note of this dirty campaign. Adding the e-mail, courier and post box number of those names are being searched to find out more details in this regard.

However, Singhvi did not answer whether an FIR against all the persons would be filed or not. He said on this matter that all the options are open in this matter.
