Rahul Mahajan was admitted first to AIIMS and later to Apollo Hospital at 3 AM morning due to suspected poisoning. His secretary Vivek Maitra was brought dead. According to Apollo Hospital spokesperson Karan Thakur, Rahul’s all vital body functioning is stable but under observation. The doctor is silent on the cause of his sickness. He says,

it can be a food poisoning case because of decayed eatables or some poisonous material was mixed with the food.

Dr. Prasad Rao, internal medicine specialist, is attending Rahul along with his expert team. He said,

Maitra was brought in dead while Rahul was unconscious and straightaway admitted to the ICU. His is on ventilator at present.

According to the police officials,

a pouch containing white powder has found at the Mahajan’s delhi residence. There was a get together and three unidentified men were seen with them just before the incident happened.
