
Sivaji Rao Gaekwad, popularly known as Rajnikanth, the demigod of Tamil cinema, is in news again. Movie-maniac people across south India are finding it impossible to wait for another day to watch the already blockbuster film, ‘Shivaji’.
The movie would be released in theaters across India and in New York also. The people have gone mad over the new Rajnikanth’s movie, which happens to be his 100th movies in his professional career.
Not only the common people but the politicians across the south India also have lined up in Hyderabad to watch ‘Shivaji’ Rajnikanth’s comeback movie one day before releasing on Thursday.
At a special screening of the movie, Chandrababu Naidu watched ‘Shivaji’ along with Rajinikanth himself on Thursday. Rajinikanth said further that he has invited Chief Minister Rajashekar Reddy to watch the movie on Thursday evening. The next high profile political leader in the line is J Jayalalitha, who is likely to watch the movie on Thursday itself.

After watching the movie, Rajinikanth praised his director Shankar for making the movie ‘Shivaji’ as a larger-than-life thing. He said:
All credit goes to the director. I have been trying to act in Shankar’s movie. I got an opportunity now. Telugu people have always supported me. I hope it becomes a hit.
This is not the story of a movie only but the mass base Rajnikanth enjoys across the South India also. People have become mad to watch the movies before anyone. The political circle is not behind in the race. The special screening of the movie for politicians has told the real story.
Theatres in Chennai have already run out of tickets for the first week for Rajnikanth’s 100th film Shivaji: The Boss as tens of thousands of people mobbed the theatres since early this week for advance booking of tickets despite of its release in 18 halls in Chennai.
The other stars of Tamil and Telugu cinema have been wiped off since the last week. As the people has been lapped up all the advance tickets for the week in no time. According to the report, there is extraordinary rush for tickets of ‘Shivaji’ in major US cities such as Virginia, New Jersey, Minneapolis and a similar craze is being witnessed in Japan, where Rajnikanth is immeasurably popular.
