Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, a senior scientist was shot dead on Sunday near his residence in Dehradun.
An unidentified person opened fire on him when the scientist was returning home from a party.
Anil Kumar was the Director of Uttaranchal Space Application Centre. He became critically injured and taken to the hospital but died on Sunday evening.
According to CNN IBN reports, the unidentified man had approached Dr. Anil when he reached outside his house in Motinagar.
They had some argument over some matter and the man fired a shot at Anil and ran away immediately.
The people of Dehradun were shocked while heard about the incident. The Chief Minister N D Tiwari has given order to make inquiries about the incident.

A NEVER PAROCHIAL PERSON,TEWARIJI SHALL STAY FOR EVER IN MY HEART TILL I LIVE.MAY GOD REST HIM IN PEACE AND FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAS DONE THIS HENOUS ACT.
