She is the hottest because she eats the hottest. She loves eating Naga Jolokia, the spiciest of red chilies. She munched 60 such hot chilies in a minute on the Reality TV. A 25-year-old woman in Assam has claimed to be the world’s ‘hottest’ woman now.



She, Anandita Dutta Tamuly, belongs to Titabor village near Guwahati. She used to eat the local chilli variety called the Naga Jolokia (capsicum frutescens).



According to the scientists, the Naga Jolokia is said to be the world’s fieriest chilli.



Naga Jolokia is spicier than Red Savina Habanero of Mexico and popularly known as the “Mexican chilli”. Experts at the Defence Research Laboratory at Tezpur in Assam said.



According to experts at the Defence Research Laboratory at Tezpur in Assam, the Naga Jolokia chilli is measured as having 855 Scoville units compared to the Mexican chilli’s 577 units.



Anandita Dutta Tamuly is now going for finding place in the Guinness Book of Records.



She says,

The Guinness has approached me by saying that no one has tried creating a record in the chilli-eating category. I am very much excited to be going to create history.

The show of his performance will be telecast on Aug 29 at 2230 hrs (IST) on Zee TV in a programme called Shabash India.
