Should accused no-117, Sanjay Dutt, get another chance?

Sanjay Dutt and the whole Bollywood is waiting for the TADA court’s verdict in the connection with 93 Mumbai bomb blast.

Sanjay Dutt had planned to go to Pune for a puja, Balaji temple, Dagdu Seth Ganesh temple to seek blessings. However, the CBI has made objections and Dutt postponed the plan.

Farhana Shah, Sanjay’s Lawyer, had given petition in the court to seek permission for Sanjay’s two days trip to the temples.

The CBI counsel opposed the trip. The special judge of TADA court, P D Kode said that delivery process of judgment has started, the actor should not leave Mumbai. Later he dropped the trip plan.

Life is not easy for Dutt these days. He spent 18 months in jail and further 13 years with regular court hearings. He, still, does not know that, at the end of the day he would be a free man or not.

He has led a good life since been out of jail 13 years back. He never disobeyed the court’s regulations on him. He never misbehaved with anyone, never reacted in the court. He showed his good character and has gained sympathy of people.

He has led simple life and earlier he had publicly accepted his addiction to cocaine and talked about distressing rehabilitation program. Everyone, who knows him personally, says that he is innocent and had nothing to do with ‘93 Mumbai blast.

Bollywood is equally nervous as Rs 100 crore is riding on movies signed by Sanjay Dutt.

What are the qualities which made Sanjay Dutt the bad boy each person to sympathise with?

It will take three weeks to know the verdict on Dutt, what court has decided.

However, by keeping his peaceful life led in last 13 years and his personality as a good human being in mind, one question arises in my mind that should he get another chance? We want you people to speak on this...

Granted that he has led an honest life since his release (on bail) from the jail; nevertheless, he should be punished if–if and only if–he is guilty.

I am in no position to know whether or not he is guilty. But, just because he is a celebrity, he should not be given a lighter or harsher sentence.

Peace and prosperity for everyone!!! And, justice for all!

Hi

Why should he be given another chance ?

If he is given another chance then all the persons involved in this case should be given another chance.

A guilty person should be punished irrespective of if he is famous or rich.Don’t you think that a common would be punished if he were accused in his place. Why the discrimination. It will make a huge difference to the families of people who died in the Mumbai blast.

i think he is the only bollywood actor left in the whole bollywood industry and if he is also gone than i think bollywood is done so i think he should get one chance more.

No...he does not deserve the mercy....although i believe that his recent movie is a very good message to the entire nation but its just a acting and its his business. i think the law should be equal for everyone. sometimes we are too liberal on the issues like this when it comes to celebrities. even if he was not directly involved in the 93 blast, he had relation with the gangster and that was proven in the past too.

Judge should let him free, he had enough punishment for kept gun.Judge shouldn’t listen hard cored criminal like Abu Salem who is born lier.He kept gun, he went to jail, it’s done.please go look for Tiger memon, Dowd ibrahim if you really want justice.

Sanjay Dutt is innocent. When terrorists from Kashmir are now ministers in the state govt, what nonsense r we debating about. In kashmir terrrorists are killing so many innocent people. These very terrorists who are the enemy of India are hob nobbing with India govt officials in New Delhi etc.... When such people can be set free, why target poor Sanjay Dutt.

Sanjay Dutt is a bigger star than Shahrukh khan , Salman khan and Amir khan put together.

Sanjay Dutt is innocent.....

More than 50% of film industry had or has links with underworld knowingly or unknowingly..willingly or unwillingly. Sanjay Dutt is a victim of conspiracy. He has never committed any crime and he has always been a good citizen after his bail.

WIsh Sanju (Munna Bhai) all the best

Sanjay Dutt is one of best public figure that you can found in India. He is kind to poor, social friendly and touching and spreading good message. Family with history of Indianism will never do harm. If he had I am 150% sure he is un-aware of it. Friends had took advantage of him and his kindness. Good people always suffer. He had suffer so much. Law is to change the people and he need not change. He is too good. We must give him chance and let him leave and serve our country where he is doing know.

Equal Justice to all....if he is guilty, he should be punished. Although, looking at his improved behaviour, his obedience to court’s ruling and regular attendance at court hearings, he deserves a latitude in verdict. Also, if Sanjay dutt has really co-operated with the police and law to catch big culprits in the mumbai bomb blast case, he can further be shown more mercy and latitude in his sentence. But the ruling should be made without consiering him a celebrity. He should be punished in a way a normal person would be punished.

God forgives everyone if he repents his sin. Sanju has realised his mistake and suffered a lot for the last 13 years. What is the use of sending him back to jail. Who will benefit out of this. We all will be made sinners in the eyes of god for punishing a poor humble soul. Common to think of it as a man I dont think he had a single peaceful day in his life. Inspite of having everything he could not lead a good peaceful life. Not the one this world gives...
I pray to god to forgive him and let me free. He is like my own brother
God bless you Sanju. I know you will be let free.
Be a good human being like your father and what you got from the society return it back by helping the poor, downtrodden.

Lets not judge over him? Who are we to decide even before the court decide? We know court is not a god? Only god knows what he has done? At least let us give him the benefit of doubt. A man is innocent until proven guilty. Why so many years torture for sanjay dutt? If it was a ordinary person wouldnot it have been solved by days? because he is an actor, they want to get his head to neck? May god bless to sanju!

I do believe that Sanju Baba is innocent. And if I’m wrong - all he did was to posess a weapon in order to protect his family. He spent 18 month in jail and 13 years awaiting the TADA court verdict. He has suffered enough and does deserve a seccond chance.

Tathastu Sanju Baba, me and my friends are standing behind you!!

I can’t know everything about the extensions of Sanju’s guilt - if there even is any (which I’m doubting). All I know is: Whatever mistakes he may have made in his younger years, he atoned for them with 18 months in jail and 13 years in insecurity about his fate. Since 13 years he is leading a decent life, and people who know him describe him as a good and loveable man - ”a child at heart”. And I’ll never forget that he was the one who didn’t hesitate to organize the Help Concert after the Tsunami. I wish him all the best in the world - and first of all right now his freedom and peace for his troubled soul.

I’m standing by you, Sanju! God bless you!

Sanjay Dutt has suffered enough whether or not he is guilty..... He might have done something wrong but one should never forget that sometimes (because u are a celebrity) u are pushed into things that you wouldnt normally do..........

For keeping a gun, i guess 18 months is enough..... dont just penalise him because he is a celebrity!!!!

He Should be freed. God bless him.

Baba must be freed & court needs to deliver the final verdict on Sanju case soon as its taking too long as baba is waiting for justice since 13 yrs Its ridiculous
Sanjay Dutt made a wrong choice by possessing that much talked about gun. He might not have been aware of the cosequences it might lead to. No doubt, it was a mistake on his part, but he is not a criminal. Moreover, he was jailed for the crime of possessing that deadly, and restricted weapon. He seems like a very genuine, and honest person.I feel he shouldn’t be held guilty.
