'Spit at proper place not at tourist sites': Young Indians urging

Chewing ‘paan’
is general habit in most of the part in India. Spitting here and there is a common problem too.

Now, schoolchildren will urge the people for not spitting and littering at tourist sites. They will campaign with their dismayed and disapproving of the bad habit.

One can easily see the walls of many buildings and tourist monuments in India with many red spots of spit.

Now, the tourism ministry decided to convince people to deposit their phlegm at proper place only. The ministry is planning to spend Rs 50 million on a campaign to install civic pride in people.

Tourism ministry’s Amitabh Kant told to Reuters that spitting paan is considered an art in India. He said further that it was off-putting about 4 million foreign tourists visits India each year.

As one advertisement shows, four distressed children standing at the sight of a paan-splattered monument spotted with garbage.

One boy is pointing his angry finger at a paan-chewing man on the brink of spitting and saying as

What a shame that people like him have no respect for our heritage.
