
The Uttar Pradesh special task force (STF) caught two suspected Pakistan-trained terrorists with seven kg RDX and detonators.
The investigating team has identified them as Mohammad Yaqub and Nasir, resident of Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh. The STF caught them near the Lucknow railway station on Thursday.
The investigating team has revealed later that by a West Bengal-based Inter-Services Intelligence agent Jalajuddin, alias Babu had taken both of them to Pakistan in June 2005.
UP police chief G L Sharma said that both the terrorists have confessed they had received training in training camps running in Pakistani territory.
G L Sharma said that both the terrorists have told the investigating team during the interrogation that they were about to receive a total of 100 kg RDX through different consignments in coming days.
GL Sharma said later that both have the sufficient evidences that proved that they have connection with Harkat-ul-Jehad-al-Islami (HuJI) and they were trained at ISI run camps in Pakistan. They were on mission to carry out bomb blasts in different parts of the state.
