Terror strike possible in Chennai, South India on high alert

Within a fortnight of twin blasts in Hyderabad that killed 42 people, the Union government has issued an advisory information to the Chennai police and district administration about a possible terror attacks in coming days.

The central government has asked the Chennai police administration to be prepared for the possible terror activities in the capital of Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, the central intelligence agencies have informed the central government that as many as four HuJI activists have reached Chennai with blast devices. They are waiting for orders from their masters to carry out a high-intensity blast at any place in the busy and crowded markets in Chennai.

After the Hyderabad Twin blasts, the intelligence agencies have started working hard to detect the terror links inn India with their masters outside India. They informed the Union government about the presence of some HUJI activists in Chennai based on several telephone intercepts in last some days.

To restrict the terror strike in Chennai, the central government may send some special intelligence teams to the state. At the same time, the other major cities of south India such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kerala and Mumbai have been put on high alert following by the intelligence information.
