On Tuesday morning, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 83, was admitted to the AIIMS when he had complained of drowsiness and giddiness, while he was at his residence.
He was immediately rushed to the private ward in the Cardio-Thoracic and Neuro-Sciences Centre of AIMS where doctors did intensive observation and investigations of his health condition. Now, the doctors have declared that his health condition is stable and satisfactory.
However, a team of doctors, including a Cardiologist and Neurologist, are looking after him. According to the report, he is stable, conscious, with normal vital signs.
The AIMS spokesperson Shakti Gupta said that his condition is now stable and satisfactory. He will be kept in hospital for one more day to complete the health check up again. He will be discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
He said in a press release that Vajpayee had his morning breakfast on time. All his vital signs are looking normal. The doctors would check his health conditions once again before discharging from the hospital.
