Rahul Mahajan staged demonstration for death for Afzal Guru as his first step in politics last week. This news was flashed all over India as Rahul’s first step to Indian Politics.

But on the other hand, there was another Mahajan who already has taken entry in Pramod Mahajan’s political constituency. She is none other than his 26-year-old daughter, Poonam Mahajan.

While the BJP-Sena alliance was in danger in Maharastra, Poonam was actively involved and worked hard to maintain the alliance. She had talked to the key players from both the parties. This was in the same way what his father would have done to save the alliance.

Poonam said,

after my father’s death, a big vacuum has been created in the party. I have an emotional attachment with the BJP because the party is as old as I am. I just have grown up with it. I saw my father’s hard work for the party.

The Political nepotism is taking another sahpe. Now, it seems, the daughters of political bigwigs will rule the politics of Maharastra in future.

Earlier, Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule has joined politics with the Rajya Sabha seat.

Sunil Dutt’s daughter Priya have won the Lok Sabha election. She is an elected MP now.

Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s daughter Pranati is already getting political training. She is her father’s poll manager.

Congress MP Eknath Gaikwad’s daughter Varsha has been elected for assembly seat in Maharastra.

This is completely a new kind of women empowerment as sons’ entry to politics are becoming history now and daughters are inheriting the political legacy of their politician parents.
