The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) has been started at the Hotel Grand, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. 56 models and 40 top designers are rocking the ramp in Delhi.



Rathi Vinay Jha, Director-General of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) says that we are intended to boost the business prospective with this event.



As much as 40 designers are ready to show their collections on the ramp. 48 female models and 8 male models will be crossing the ramp in the WIFW.



WIFW has worked hard to gather most of the designers who, earlier, had opted for the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai this year.



At the same time, the dates of Lakme Fashion Week have been announced. The spring-summer edition is scheduled in Mumbai from October 31-November 4. The next year’s autumn-winter event os scheduled from March 27-31.



Top designers are participating in the WIFW event including Rohit Gandhi, Rahul Khanna, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Rocky S, J J Valaya and Rina Dhaka.



The Bollywood has also added glamour on the second day of the event. Designers Gauri and Nainika, Ayesha Depala, Manav Gangwani, Falguni and Shane Peacock presented their collections on Thursday. Today is the third day of this event.
