The following clip was shown on the Tamil television channel ‘Jaya TV’ on February 21, 2008. A person saw a ‘yogi’ on the sacred hill of Thiruvannamalai located in South India. He tried to capture his visual with his cell phone, but the yogi suddenly flew off like a rocket.

Yes, I have seen this clip on Jaya TV, Yogis in India are really magical, It is more than a surprise if not a trick photography. And I am sure this is not a trick but truth. He really flew off like a rocket.

Posting the same comment twice does’nt turn the fake into real. Lol, the clip was already seen in 2006.

Hey Dharam, I was not trying to make any fake into real by posting double comment, it was some technical fault and instablogs has now deleted one of the two same comments. If posting 100 same comments does help in making fake into real, I would certainly do that but I know it won't happen. get some brain dude. Anyways..The Jaya TV showed it now and I have seen it in Feb, it hardly matters for me if it happened in 2006, as you say, the matter of the content is that Did the yogi actually fly?

The matter of the content is Not whether that yogi did actually fly or not..

The real question is ’Was it a yogi?’

It is a balloon sans a knot - I do this trick to cheer up my 2 year old nephew, he loves it a lot. The only difference is that my balloons are usually without any wig or blanket.

@Aneez:

It is beyond any doubt that it was a Yogi who flew like a rocket. I am not joking pal. There is concrete scientific evidence. You see, a mobile phone with an in-built digital camera is a scientific invention. The guy recorded the incident with a scientific device. This puts an end to all debate about Yogis having mystical powers and can perform seemingly miraculous acts. Such stories had been floating around from times immemorial. Now the evidence is conclusive.

Similarly, there are UFOs, aliens, ghosts, etc around. One by one they will be proven too. Just hang around for a few more years in this planet and the mysteries of the universe will unravel themselves before you.

@Aneez, I am surprised man! you said you did the trick to cheer your 2-yr-old nephew..have you seen the video? I suggest you to watch it once again, you will find the shadow-yogi makes an angle of almost 30 degree (its blind guess, and I have written it because I guess you would just start another debate on the degree of angle). After taking a slight turn, he suddenly zoomed on in the air. Can you tell me balloon of which company you use to cheer your nephew and to do the trick, and which gas you fill in the balloon that gives the balloon an angle first and then it goes in the air like rocket. I have heard and seen that balloon goes in the air slowly. I am surprised your balloon goes like rocket..

Hi Gibs. First of all, I would like to bow before you for your ability to feel surprised at your will. Great, thats a healthy habit!

Second, I apply the principle of exhalation while inflating that balloon (not any special make, we get those from 50 paise to 2 rupees at our local general store)

Third, I’ve seen that video and was really thrilled! And yes, you are right dude, the angle is a perfect 30 degree!! Congrats on this!

Fourth, as for your ignorant self (balloon goes in the air slowly)... try taking a balloon.. inflate it as much as you can with your mouth.. don’t tie it in a knot (just keep the opening pressed between your first finger n thumb)... then tilt that balloon to a degree of your choice (I’m sure it will be 30 cuz it happens to be the yogic angle) and take your fingers off...

Zooooom... The balloon goes Yogi, oops ballistic!

P.S. Don’t forget to thank me when you jump like a child on seeing your balloon shoot off like a rocket.

I am laughing like hell Aneez, You have got really poor sense of humor but here I am impressed with the use of humour. And so you pointed out the angle of 30 degree. Okay I am serious now...Hmmmm... u mean to say someone was sitting under or behind the yogi (balloon for you), did inflate the yogi (balloon for you) as much as he could with his mouth.. didn't tie it in a knot and just kept the opening pressed between his first finger n thumb (hahaha), then tilt the Yogi (balloon for you) to a 30 degree angel (the yogic angle as you defined it) and took his fingers off... and Zooooom... The yogi became balloon, oops ballistic! , OMG... I am still serious my dear friend...

Hi Gibs, I feel so good for you, at least my comment made you laugh for a moment. As for your comment that I have a poor sense of humor, let me tell you you are right to some extent because the right term is liberal not .

Yeah, I have a very liberal sense of humor and thats why I can mingle with unfortunate folks like you whose sense of humor is just a wee bit below par(don’t worry, you’ll improve.. I’ve already started praying to God to bless you in this department). And if you ask me how I derived this wacky conclusion, read your last comment and you will get an idea about yourself.

Sadly, humor is a strange preparation and folks like you can’t digest it without garnishing it with unwanted seriousness.

Though you managed a few crackles but your frustration is clearly evident from behind that hollow laughter of yours. I can understand, this happens quite a few times...when you have been served with something that you can’t handle.

By the way, as for the flying yogi phenomenon, you are right on target in your last comment dude!

And yeah, you don’t need to be a flying yogi to make your comments more interesting.

Do come again.. but with something of your own and something that can make me change my perception about you.

Thanx for praying for me Aneez, it happens rarely when people pray for others. You are a true friend indeed. Anyways...see you showed your poor habit once again, you just picked up one point and start commenting on that point, in your first comment, you picked the sentence - 'Did the yogi actually fly'. In your second comment, I guessed it right, you talked much about the 'famous' 30 degree angle, and now, you went for the word - 'poor sense of humour' or 'humour'..

You gave a theory and I tried to use the theory on the flying yogi and started laughing, it was not my fault, everyone, who reads your theory of balloon, will laugh. I am not burning my oil to change your perception because I know 'Something never changes'.

>> you showed your poor habit once again, you just picked up one point and start commenting on that point,

You say this at the beginning of your last comment, but taking a strange and sudden U-turn, you end your comment by saying this >>> You gave a theory and I tried to use the theory

You are confusing me mate. What exactly do you want to say?? I mean, who am I?

Come on mate, you call me a true friend and then you give me so much pain by presenting this confusing and contradcting views in a single comment!

Anyway, once a friend, always a friend... I’m ready to overlook your quasi-confused state of mind to keep our friendship intact.
