Meanwhile Beau Peep thought that Gaurav was behaving like an ‘insufferable snob’ and went on to give his reasons why the pictures were necessary and included the pictures too.

[Warning: Beau Peep’s post contains images that might be disturbing to some]

I think that this issue is not going to stop here...

Anubha Bhonsle has written in her post as Manu Sharma has every reason to choose Ram Jethmalani but what are Mr Jethmalini’s reasons for defending a controversial accused? Is it because he truly believes Manu Sharma is innocent, or does he believe his job is to put forward the best defence for his client? Is it the thrill of defending someone who on the surface looks indefensible? Is it that he genuinely feels that Manu has been tried in the court of public opinion before he could really be tried by the High Court?

The Indian cricket team, despite of all criticism back in India, busy in losing the game from the South African team in the tour of South Africa. Other teams of cricket playing nations may learn a unique quality from Indian team ‘How to loose a winning game comfortably from any team of the World. The recent two loss of the game (It could have 0-3 but the rain saved a game for India) has irked fans back in India and even in Parliament of India.

I found a fantastic post on the performance of Indian team under the title Kaho Na Massacre Hain. The situation of the team is fit to sing a song of the super hit Bollywood movie, Kaho Na Pyar Hai that is as Ek Pal Ka Jina... for rest just see the post and don’t forget to read some interesting comments as well.

The officials said that to keep Mumbai clean and disease free, this was necessary step. The officials have been circulated handbills with the warning, “Bird feeding is prohibited in public places.”

According to Vijay Balamwar, Mumbai’s assistant municipal commissioner, about 20 people have been already fined.

Sakshi has written a post on it with a wonderful headline and a beautiful picture of Marine Drive.

Seems like the Mumbai’s civic officials are also going the English way when it comes to pigeon-feeding issue at one of the most-popular destination in Mumbai city - Marine Drive.

The Melbourne City Council has decided to make free bicycles available to visitors in Melbourne city. For this, the Council has been in talks with the outdoor advertising major JCDecaux.

Jcdecaux has already been launched free city cycle programs in as many as four European cities. Lyon, Vienna and Brussels have been adopted JCDecaux’s CityCycle system in last two years. Paris is the next destination for the free bike plan of the company.

Melbourne City Council’s planning chairperson Catherine Ng said that the bike plan for the city visitors looks easy. Visitors can park the bike anywhere you want around town. They will be able to take a bike from one rack by registering his account by giving the credit card details.

They can return the bike to any rack across the city. The bike facility would be free of cost if returned within the hour. Failing to return the bike would cost the visitors $1000 that would be debited from their credit card.

Melbourne City Council selected four locations such as in disused space on Flinders Street next to the train station, outside Southern Cross railway station, on Swanston Street near RMIT and near Parliament House.

On the other hand, JCDecaux had also acknowledged that, 15 per cent of bikes would be damaged each year and another 15 per cent would possibly be stolen each year.

Now this is Rajdeep Sardesai’s turn to speak on the issue of Ram Jethmalani’s decision to defend Manu Sharma in the connection with Jessica Lal murder case.

He is completely aware about the hue-n-cry over the issue in Indian Blogsphere as he writes that the matter appeared to have set off such an avalanche of comment in the blogosphere.

Rajdeep has chosen the sensitive issue to justify the often-criticized media role in this case. He writes under the title In the name of Ram as

What is distressing is the manner in which he chose to heap abuse on the media, while suggesting that an ignorant media, and pesky 24 hour news channels in particular, had no business to be “interfering” in the judicial process.

Jethmalani is not alone. In recent times, more and more highly influential Indians have discovered a new “enemy”: the 24-hour news channel. Everybody hates television news (ah, so superficial, so tabloid, so clichetic!) yet nobody seems to be able to stop watching television news. From edit page writers to self-appointed television critics, from top politicians to film and sporting celebrities, for a majority of them, the news channel is soft target practice.

Its ok Mr. Rajdeep, you and your organization is doing better but please don’t provide shelter to others, who often do wrongs...
